Beautiful Christmas
😆😆😆😆We are living in this small one bedroom apartment- it is a two bedroom of which one has been used for storage. The rest is cramped and cluttered and therefore dirty. 😐😐😐😐😐😐😟😟😟
But in the midst of it all, I managed to get my eager five year old a beautiful christmas tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had promised her one years back and we had dreamed of decorating it together in our new home. LOL! Our plans didnt go as hoped, and we ended up decorating the tree in the apartment, amidst all the clutter. (mhm I know im cool😏)
I bought the tree without any lights, just plain and simple. Cmon I was broke!😢 We decorated it with our own little decorations and things we had collected over the years and the little trinkets that my baby made with her own little hands ( especially that cute colored angel) from her preschool. Yea I was obsessed with her lets just say that. And by was I am saying that I wrote this in 2015 and now my daughter is10 years old😆😱OMG can you believe it! And yes she grew a little out of her giraffes 😔. She would bring these treasures home and add them to our clutter and very proudly show them to me much to my tender annoyance. You wanna know something?😲 Everything that was kinda funny was written by her 10 year old daughter.👩 I just wrote THIS LAST SENTENCE!!!!😝 Everything that has an emoji is written by her daughter. IM SORRY I DONT WaNNA REAVEAL ME NAME ! 😳This year, our tree looked great and I brought some of the much wanted things for baby, wrapped them in paw print wrapping paper and placed them underneath the tree for her to open.
My baby - yes she is five but I will always call her my baby...is a very sweet natured, tolerant girl and is very selfless and unmaterialistic. Her wants are few and easy to fulfil. She wanted a silver necklace with a pendant and a toy giraffe that was similar to her old worn out giraffe that she could replace. I had told her that the giraffe was sold out and was not available to buy anymore and her reaction was "oh thats alright amma. I dont want it". I also got her some clothes for the winter and some pretty hairclips that she always wanted.
But I was able to buy it and add it to the Santa packages under the tree.
Seeing her face with joy filled my heart with satisfaction to some extent...and this Christmas was a beautiful Christmas after all...A Christmas that I will always cherish ...I hope my little girl will too. Though it wasnt in the place where I hoped it to be, or the way I hoped it to be...it still is filled with good memories and love.
